You should know, that no matter who or what you lost, how long ago, or how recent it was, if it took you by surprise, or was a long and painful road, that you deserve to be seen, heard and supported in your grief.

After I lost my husband on June 1, 2013, I did not at first, feel ready or able to face his death. I was, as I now know, in a state of shock. My body processed this trauma by protecting me so well, that even I was unaware of the ways in which his death continued to impact me all of these years later.

When I did begin the work…the work to acknowledge, accept, find peace and make meaning in this new life, as this new self, it took me a long time to gather all of the components that have become the foundation for this healing journey. The Grief Ritual aims to provide support in the way you most need it, by curating aspects of yoga philosophy and trauma teachings , as well as collaboration and connection with me, to foster post-traumatic growth. The intention is, in this space of safety, that what you find, learn about and grow to love…is your right now self.

Grief, is love in a different form. We can carry both on our hearts…
